Emily and Jackson first met their freshman year at Belmont University. Neither planned to go out that night, but one spontaneous decision brought them to the same party—and the rest was history. From traveling the country and seeing bucket-list concerts to celebrating with friends and building a life full of shared hobbies, their story grew into years of adventure.

Their engagement was a sweet surprise. On the eve of their anniversary, Jackson planned a last-minute cabin trip to Blue Ridge, Georgia—meaningful as their first getaway together. After a nervous dinner and a lot of pacing, he proposed with the same ring Emily’s grandfather once gave her grandmother, set to a live recording of an artist they both loved.

What began as months of being “just friends” turned into nine years of love, laughter, and nightly Mario Kart competitions. Emily and Jackson celebrated their wedding at Drakewood Farm on November 7, 2025, and it was a beautiful reflection of the journey that brought them there.
