Hayley and Gus's love story began with a surprise blind date set up by their best friends. Though they’d never met before, it was love at first sight. Hayley, 17, was about to leave for college, and Gus, 18, was finishing high school. Despite the distance, they made their long-distance relationship work for a year, with Hayley later transferring schools to be closer to Gus.
