Demi and Derrick met on Hinge and bonded over nachos and laughter. Early dates included a fancy dinner that wasn’t so fancy, a bowling win for Demi, and their first kiss in a photo booth—now a tradition.

Their relationship grew fast. Derrick moved closer, and they built a life full of home-cooked dinners, spontaneous golf cart rides, and photo albums from trips like Hilton Head and Spain.

In May 2024, Derrick surprised Demi with a proposal in Asheville, waiting at the bottom of a grand staircase surrounded by their closest friends. Though their original venue was lost to a hurricane, they discovered Drakewood Farm after a last-minute road trip—and instantly fell in love with it.

Now, just a month away from saying “I do,” they’re soaking up summer with their dogs and counting down the days to forever.
